OTPless Elevates Manas Poddar as Chief Business Officer

Bengaluru-based identity and access management startup OTPless has elevated early team member Manas Poddar as Chief Business Officer (CBO), as the company expands its authentication business into broader identity infrastructure.
As CBO, Poddar will oversee revenue, enterprise sales and strategic partnerships at the startup.
Poddar joined OTPless in 2023 as one of its earliest team members and has led the business vertical since. Before joining OTPless, he worked at BharatPe from 2020 to 2022, where he was part of the technical team involved in the PMC Bank revival and the groundwork for Unity Small Finance Bank.
The appointment comes shortly after OTPless elevated its cofounders Satyam Nathani and Tanmay Sagar as CEO and COO, respectively, on September 18. Nathani and Sagar co-founded OTPless in 2023 and had earlier worked as founding members at BharatPe.
OTPless claims to have scaled to more than 300 million authenticated users and Rs 36 crore in annualised revenue, representing 2.5X year-on-year growth. The 12-member startup has also been profitable for the past two quarters.
The company provides authentication and identity solutions to consumer businesses through technologies such as Silent Network Authentication, WhatsApp Authentication, Device Intelligence and Passkeys.
Its platform authenticates more than 300 million users, with clients including Meesho, Zepto, Navi, PhysicsWallah, ShareChat, Shiprocket and ixigo.
OTPless has raised $6.5 million from investors including Venture Highway, White Venture, FJ Labs, SIDBI and Piper Serica.
