Innovist Revenue Nearly Triples to Rs 685.7 Crore in FY26

Beauty and personal care company Innovist nearly tripled its operating revenue in FY26, while its net profit increased 87% during the same period. The growth came alongside higher spending on advertising, promotions and sales commissions, which contributed to an increase in overall expenses.

Innovist, operated by Onesto Labs, reported revenue from operations of Rs 685.7 crore in FY26, compared with Rs 246.7 crore in FY25, according to its consolidated financial statements sourced from the RoC.

The company operates in the cosmetics and beauty products segment, with manufacturing facilities in India. It sells primarily through online marketplaces, its own website and third-party offline stores.

Product Sales Drive Revenue Growth

Product sales remained Innovist’s primary source of operating revenue in FY26, contributing Rs 676.3 crore, compared with Rs 239.1 crore in FY25.

Other operating revenue, which includes shipping and scrap sales, increased to Rs 9.4 crore during the last fiscal year.

Advertising and Sales Costs Increase

The company’s revenue growth was accompanied by higher spending on customer acquisition and sales. Advertising and promotional expenses accounted for 40% of its overall cost, rising more than threefold to Rs 262 crore in FY26 from Rs 84.2 crore in FY25.

Innovist also spent Rs 92 crore on commissions to sole selling agents, up from Rs 15 crore a year earlier.

Cost of materials consumed increased to Rs 162 crore from Rs 79 crore, while employee benefit expenses more than doubled to Rs 39 crore from Rs 19 crore.

Overall, Innovist’s total expenses increased to Rs 662 crore in FY26 from Rs 250 crore in FY25.

Despite the rise in expenses, Innovist reported a profit before tax of Rs 30.5 crore in FY26, compared with a loss before tax of Rs 55 lakh in FY25.

The company’s tax expense rose to Rs 8.9 crore during the year, including deferred tax expense of Rs 7.8 crore. Its net profit consequently reached Rs 21.5 crore in FY26.

Innovist’s total current assets stood at Rs 303 crore in FY26, including cash and bank balances of Rs 81 crore.

Sales Growth and Cost Efficiency Remain Key

Innovist’s financial performance reflects an expansion in its sales base while maintaining profitability. However, advertising and promotional expenses alone accounted for around 38% of operating revenue, making the returns on its sales and marketing investments an important metric to monitor.

As the company continues to scale, its ability to sustain revenue growth while improving the efficiency of customer acquisition and distribution costs will shape its profitability.
