Semiconductor startup HrdWyr raises $13 Mn led by Ideaspring Capital
Semiconductor startup HrdWyr has secured $13 million in a Series A funding round led by Ideaspring Capital, with participation from Singularity AMC, Avatar Growth Capital, and existing backer Persistent Systems.
The fresh capital will be used to speed up the development of its AI-native System-on-Chip (AISoC) portfolio and strengthen customer partnerships across international markets.
Founded by Ramamurthy Sivakumar, HrdWyr designs AI-native semiconductor chips tailored for edge computing and physical AI use cases.
The startup builds specialised chips for industries such as consumer electronics, electric vehicles, industrial applications, and data centres. Its solutions aim to deliver faster processing with lower latency and higher power efficiency for AI workloads running at the edge.
Operating as a fabless semiconductor company, HrdWyr focuses on embedding AI capabilities directly into chip architecture, enabling real-time processing and autonomous decision-making on devices.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company recently partnered with boAt to broaden its customer reach.
