Zomato launches Healthy Subscriptions: Users can now plan meals up to 15 days ahead

Food delivery platform Zomato has introduced Healthy Subscriptions, a new feature that allows users to pre-plan their meals from restaurants listed under its Healthy Mode category.

The feature is currently available in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with plans to roll it out to additional cities across India in the coming months.

Through Healthy Subscriptions, users can choose lunch or dinner plans for three, five, or 15 days. Customers can select their preferred plan, customize meals, and schedule deliveries in advance.

According to Zomato, every dish included in the subscription offering carries a “High” Healthy Score. The score is determined using factors such as protein density, fibre content, ingredient quality, and carbohydrate density. The company said the Healthy Scores and nutritional insights are generated using artificial intelligence based on information available on its platform.

The feature also offers flexibility, allowing subscribers to modify meals before they are finalized, reschedule deliveries within the subscription period, update delivery locations, or cancel plans when needed. Users can also use a shuffle option that automatically selects meals for them.

The subscription catalogue features a curated range of dishes with high Healthy Scores. Zomato noted that some of these items may be exclusive to the subscription service and may not be available through regular restaurant menus.

The company said Healthy Subscriptions aims to make healthier eating habits more convenient by helping users plan meals in advance while maintaining variety and flexibility in their daily food choices.
