Actor and entrepreneur Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in sportswear startup Agilitas Sports, deepening her involvement with the company after Virat Kohli joined the business as a co-investor and partner last year.
The company said Sharma will also collaborate with Agilitas to develop a dedicated yoga-wear line under One8, the lifestyle and sportswear brand associated with Kohli.
“Anushka is partnering with Agilitas by investing capital in the company and building yoga-wear,” said co-founder and CEO Abhishek Ganguly.
Sharing her thoughts on the partnership, Sharma said, “Excited to join Agilitas as an investor and begin this journey with @one8world. What drew me in was the intent, the ambition, and the opportunity to build something meaningful. Looking forward to creating, learning, and growing. More soon.”
The company did not disclose the financial terms of Sharma’s investment.
In 2025, Kohli acquired a minority stake in Agilitas for approximately Rs 40 crore as part of a broader strategic partnership. The agreement also included the acquisition of the One8 brand by Agilitas as the company sought to strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing sportswear and athleisure market.
Kohli’s investment came after the conclusion of his eight-year endorsement partnership with German sportswear giant Puma, a deal reportedly valued at Rs 110 crore.
Founded in 2023 by former Puma India executives Abhishek Ganguly, Atul Bajaj, and Amit Prabhu, Agilitas operates across sports footwear and apparel segments. The company manages manufacturing, brand development, and direct-to-consumer retail operations through a vertically integrated business model.
Sharma’s investment marks another milestone in Agilitas’ growth strategy as it looks to expand its brand portfolio and accelerate the growth of One8 in India’s increasingly competitive sportswear industry.
