Moneyview Cuts IPO Fresh Issue to Rs 750 Crore From Rs 1,500 Crore
Digital lending platform Moneyview has reduced the size of its proposed initial public offering (IPO), cutting the fresh issue by half to Rs 750 crore from the Rs 1,500 crore proposed in its draft papers.
The company has also reduced the offer-for-sale (OFS) component to around 10.04 crore shares from up to 13.61 crore shares proposed earlier.
The revised IPO structure comes ahead of Moneyview’s public listing and follows the fintech company receiving approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
Under the revised structure, Moneyview plans to raise Rs 750 crore through the issue of new shares. The company had initially planned to use the Rs 1,500 crore proceeds to grow its lending business, strengthen its technology infrastructure and meet general corporate purposes.
With the reduction in the OFS component, some existing investors have scaled back their planned stake sales. Investors including Accel, Tiger Global, Crimson Winter and Ribbit Capital have reduced their proposed stake sales, while the founders’ planned OFS remains unchanged, according to the revised IPO structure.
Moneyview had filed its draft IPO papers with SEBI in March 2026. The proposed issue at the time included a fresh issue of Rs 1,500 crore and an OFS of up to 13.61 crore shares. The company had also kept the option of a pre-IPO placement of up to Rs 300 crore.
Founded by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Moneyview operates a digital lending and personal finance platform. The company offers personal loans and other financial products through its platform and works with lending partners.
The IPO size cut comes as a number of Indian fintech companies prepare to tap the public markets, with investors paying closer attention to profitability, growth and valuations.
During the first nine months of FY26, the company reported 2,773 crore of revenue with profits of Rs 210 crore.
Moneyview’s revised issue size will give investors a smaller fresh-equity offering, while the lower OFS will also reduce the number of shares being sold by existing shareholders.
