Consumer health and wellness company Cradlewise has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital and Prudent Investment Management.
With the latest round, Cradlewise has raised a total of $26 million to date. Its backers include Sean O’Sullivan Ventures, Footwork VC, Charles River Ventures, 3one4 Capital, and Prudent Investment Management.
Cradlewise said in a press release that it will use the fresh capital for growth, channel expansion, product R&D, and geographic expansion.
Founded in 2019 by Radhika Patil and Bharath Patil, Cradlewise is an AI-first consumer tech company that develops smart cribs designed to soothe babies and help improve family sleep.
Its AI-enabled cribs use sensors to track movement, sound, sleep state, and other contextual signals. The system uses this data to predict when a baby is likely to wake up and intervene before the baby fully wakes.
Cradlewise claims that its technology can save parents up to two hours of effort each day. The company has patents covering its hardware and sensing systems and says its models are trained on more than 75 million hours of sleep data.
The company also operates an integrated manufacturing facility in Pune, which can produce, test, and pack thousands of cribs each month. According to Cradlewise, the facility gives it greater control over quality, product development, and costs.
Cradlewise’s smart sleep system combines a crib, contactless monitoring, adaptive motion, and a connected app to detect early signs of stirring and help babies settle before fully waking.
The company is targeting the intersection of consumer technology, AI, and parenting. Its products are aimed at addressing challenges related to infant sleep and parental fatigue.
