Credfix Raises Rs 16.1 Crore in Seed Funding Led by Tanglin Venture Partners
AI-first debt resolution platform Credfix has raised Rs 16.1 crore in a seed funding round led by Tanglin Venture Partners, with participation from Stargazer.
Before this round, Credfix had raised Rs 4.5 crore from K2 Capital, Invstt Trust and a group of angel investors.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product development, strengthen its AI capabilities and expand its borrower support network across India, Credfix said in a press release.
Credfix’s AI-Powered Debt Resolution Platform
Founded in 2025 by Ranjan Agarwal, Neeraj Kulkarni and Ayush Kedia, Credfix is an AI-powered financial recovery platform that helps borrowers understand their debt, assess repayment options and navigate interactions with lenders.
Its offerings include debt assessment, loan resolution, loan consolidation and AI-powered legal assistance.
The platform has three key AI-led solutions: Risi, an AI financial assistant; Neytra, an AI call shield; and an AI legal assistant.
Risi helps borrowers understand their debt and explore resolution options, while Neytra assists with recovery-related calls. The legal assistant helps borrowers understand legal notices, prepare draft responses for their review and identify possible next steps.
Credfix said it aims to support borrowers across the debt resolution lifecycle, from early signs of financial distress to structured resolution and financial rehabilitation.
The platform helps users assess their financial obligations, evaluate available options, communicate with lenders and understand legal notices.
Credfix claims to currently serve more than 2 lakh borrowers representing over Rs 4,000 crore in aggregate outstanding debt. Around 40% of its users are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Debt Resolution Technology Landscape
The debt resolution and collections segment has seen growing technology adoption in India.
FREED, a borrower-focused debt relief platform, raised Rs 60 crore in February 2026 in a round led by Aavishkaar Capital. It had previously raised Rs 60 crore in a Series A round in 2024.
On the lender side, Credgenics has raised $50 million and provides technology for collections, litigation management and online dispute resolution.
CreditNirvana, a Perfios company, launched its agentic AI platform Maestro for debt collections in November 2025 and introduced an integrated AI suite for collections and lending in October 2026.
