Pali Based Dr. Twinkle Beniwal Launches Sanitary Pad Startup Inspired by Friend’s Infection

Pali-based Dr. Twinkle Beniwal has launched a sanitary pad startup after witnessing her friend’s struggle with infection and rashes caused by the sanitary pads she was using during her menstrual cycle.

The idea took shape in January when Dr. Beniwal learned about the health issues faced by her friend. Further research revealed concerns related to the materials used in many conventional sanitary pads, prompting her to explore a safer alternative.

To develop the product, she interacted with women from different backgrounds, including working professionals, college students, and homemakers, to understand their experiences and requirements. Based on the feedback, the sanitary pads were designed with a focus on comfort, safety, and hygiene.

Dr. Beniwal says the venture was started with the aim of addressing a genuine problem faced by women and creating greater awareness around menstrual health.
