Exponent Energy raises Rs 200 Cr in Series B2 round led by 360 ONE Asset and TDK Ventures
EV rapid charging startup Exponent Energy has raised Rs 200 crore ($21.1 million) in a Series B2 funding round co-led by 360 ONE Asset and TDK Ventures, with participation from Hitachi Ventures and existing investors including Eight Roads Ventures, Lightspeed, 3one4 Capital, and AdvantEdge VC. YourNest, the company’s first institutional investor, also participated through its Continuum Fund with an investment of $4 million.
The Bengaluru-based startup had previously secured $26.4 million in a Series B round led by Eight Roads Ventures, along with a strategic investment from TDK Ventures in December 2023. With the latest infusion, Exponent Energy’s total funding has reached $65.7 million.
According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to expand into new cities, enter additional vehicle categories, and strengthen investments in research and development.
Founded in 2020 by Arun Vinayak and Sanjay Byalal, Exponent Energy develops rapid-charging technology for electric vehicles, enabling full charging in just 15 minutes. The company works with OEM partners to integrate its battery packs and operates a network of charging stations designed to support commercial and logistics fleets.
Exponent Energy says it is building an integrated EV ecosystem through its proprietary energy stack, mobility platform Exponent OTO, and financing and asset management arm Exponent ONE.
